About Us

WE REALLY DO HAVE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.

The Biggleswade & District Conservative Club is a private members’ club in the heart of Biggleswade in Bedfordshire.

Here at the Club, we really do have something for everyone. Love your sport? We have our own Bowls Club, Snooker Club and Tennis Club. More the socialising type? Why not try your hand at cribbage or dominoes or just come along to one of our film nights, games nights or quiz nights.  We also have a flourishing Women’s group which meets on a regular basis.

We have three bars. The Sports Bar features both Sky Sports and BT Sport on multiple screens. The Lounge Bar is the perfect setting for lunch, dinner, or to enjoy a bottle of wine with friends. Our Concert Room has its own bar and is our main entertainment space for a vibrant mix of club and private functions.

For a closer look at some of the activities we host please see below.

SNOOKER CLUB

The Club has two well maintained snooker tables and two thriving Snooker teams that play in the local league. The tables are available for all Club members on a first-come, first-served basis. For further details please contact Barry Camp on 01234 347526.

BOWLS CLUB

We have an active bowls club with an on-site green and dedicated bowls pavilion. If you would like to learn more please visit our dedicated page.

TENNIS CLUB

The thriving Biggleswade Conservative Tennis Club has three on-site courts and a dedicated tennis pavilion. The club was founded in 1926. The tennis club has its own website where you can find more information.

BARS

We have three bars and stock a wide range of lagers, ales, spirits, and mixers. We have four real ale lines: typically 2 permanent ales, 1 semi-permanent ale, and 1 guest ale. We also have draft Heineken 0.0 non-alcoholic beer and a wide range of wines, spirits, soft, and hot drinks.

FILM CLUB

Why not come along to our regular film night on our silver screen? It’s free for members, a great social evening, and we sell ice cream during the interval. Usually on a Tuesday evening, details of the next film are displayed on posters around the club, and on our Facebook page.

The Club is inter-affiliated with the Association of Conservative Clubs Limited, and welcomes members of other clubs who hold a current Inter-Affiliation card.
